This type of furnaces is defined by the presence of a chamber/tunnel where the treated material passes through, by positioning it on a conveyor belt, trays, chain conveyor or walking beams.

The first part of the furnace is the treatment chamber, after which the material usually passes in a cooling zone (if present) without entering in contact with ambient air.

At the exit of the furnace the material is ready for the next working process or to be stored. The heating is achieved with gas or electricity, with burners, radiant tubes or resistances.

Structure's description

The structure of Our continuous furnaces is made of solid steel tubes and profiles, with custom dimensions to suit the customer logistic requirements. The thermal insulation is made by ceramic fibres for high temperatures and other special refractories.

Our continuous furnaces are heated by electrical resistances positioned in refractory supports, radiant tubes or gas burners, always positioned to ease maintenance and inspection.

The refractory steel conveyor belts, the trays or the chain conveyor are produced and installed to ensure minimum friction with the and cooling channel, ensuring high efficiency and longer life of the components. In the walking beams furnaces are used refractory with high mechanical resistance.
